The short answer
When a delivery arrives, open Stock and tap Add Purchase, pick the item and the supplier, type what you paid for each one and how many arrived, and choose Paid or Not Paid. Tap Create Transaction, and the purchase is in Spending and your stock goes up.
The £0 plan holds 100 stock items. WalnutPOS tells you when you reach it, and nothing is deleted. Advanced removes the limit. See every limit

Step by step
Everything said in the video, chapter by chapter. Each time opens the video at that moment on YouTube.
0:00In this video, you'll log a delivery, so your stock count and what you owe are both right.
Start a purchase
0:12When a delivery arrives, open Stock. This item is empty. Tap Add Purchase. You can also tap the reorder link on any item that's running low.
Fill in the delivery
0:38Pick the stock item. Choose who it came from. This is optional, but it's how Walnut knows what you owe each supplier. Quantity Per Unit is for packs. When you count single bottles, leave it at one. Unit Cost is what you paid for each one. Eighty-five pence a bottle.
0:57Then how many arrived. Twenty-four. The date starts as today. For things that go off, you can add an expiry date too. If you've already paid, leave it on Paid. If it's on account, choose Not Paid, and it's added to what you owe this supplier.
1:14Add the invoice number in the description, so you can match it later. Tap Create Transaction, and it's saved.
Check it's landed
1:41It's in Spending as a stock purchase, marked Unpaid. And in Stock, you now have twenty-four, so it's back in stock. The unit cost now comes from what you paid. That's the cost your recipes use.
Recap
1:58To recap. When a delivery arrives, open Stock and tap Add Purchase. Pick the item and the supplier, type what you paid for each one and how many arrived, and choose Paid or Not Paid. Tap Create Transaction. It's in Spending, and your stock goes up.
