How to set delivery and collection in WalnutPOS

Open your store settings

0:16In Settings, choose Store and online ordering. Collection, delivery and order rules are all on this page. Nothing is saved until you press Save changes.

Choose your delivery area

0:31Offer delivery is on, so customers inside your rings can choose delivery. Each ring has its own fee. The quickest start is a size. Medium replaces your rings with three, out to three miles, each with a starting fee, minimum order and delivery time.

0:47The map shows your rings around the store. Distances are estimated road distance from your store.

Each ring's fee, minimum and time

0:59Each ring's fee is right here. Our outer ring is the furthest to drive, so we'll charge four pounds fifty. More delivery settings opens the details for every ring: its name, where it ends, its minimum order and its delivery time.

1:14For the outer ring, we'll ask for a twenty pound minimum, and allow forty-five minutes. Each ring starts where the one before it ends, so there are no gaps. The cross removes a ring.

Free delivery and a minimum order

1:30Free delivery is off until you enter an amount. We'll make delivery free on orders of thirty pounds or more. Customers see it at checkout, once they've entered their delivery address. Under Order rules, set a minimum for online orders. We'll use eight pounds.

1:46It covers delivery and collection, at every store in your business. Each ring can still ask for a higher minimum.

Your collection time

1:58Collection is how long customers wait before they pick up. Pick a time, or choose Custom for anything up to two hours. We'll set twenty-five minutes. The line below shows when an order placed now would be ready. You can still change the time for each order when you accept it.

Save and check

2:19The bar at the bottom lists what you've changed. Discard puts it all back. Press Save changes, and wait for Changes saved. Now open your ordering page. The top bar says collection in about twenty-five minutes, and checkout shows the same time.
