In the back office, open Store Credit, tap Issue Credit, pick the customer, and enter the amount and a reason. At the till, add the customer to the bill, then tap Store Credit and Charge, and the rest of their balance is still there for next time.

Give store credit
0:08Store credit is money a customer can spend with you later. Say Hannah waited too long on Saturday, and you'd like to make it up to her. In the back office, open Store Credit, and tap Issue Credit. Search for the customer, and pick Hannah.
0:30Enter the amount, twenty-five pounds, and a reason, so everyone knows why later. Tap Issue. Here it is: what it started at, and what's left. Credit is also added for you when someone pays more than they owe on their tab.
Spend it at the till
0:47When Hannah next comes in, ring up her order as normal, and tap Charge. Store Credit is greyed out, because credit belongs to a customer. Tap Add customer, and pick Hannah. Now Store Credit is ready, and her balance shows underneath. It covers this bill.
1:18Tap Store Credit, then Charge. Paid with store credit. No money changes hands.
What’s left
1:28Back in Store Credit, her balance has gone down by the bill. The rest is still there for next time.
