The short answer
Add sizes under Variations, each with its own price, and put paid extras in a modifier group and save it to the item. Build a meal deal as a new menu item with the Combo type, giving it its own price, the items that always come in the deal and a choice group, like a drink.

Step by step
Everything said in the video, chapter by chapter. Each time opens the video at that moment on YouTube.
0:00By the end of this video, you'll be able to give items sizes, add paid extras, and build a meal deal, and see how they work at the till.
Give an item sizes
0:19In the back office, open the item. We'll use the roast beef dinner. Under Variations, tap Add Variant. Call it Regular, at sixteen pounds fifty. Add another: Large, at nineteen pounds fifty. The first size is the default, marked with the star. Once an item has sizes, each size carries its own price.
0:42Tap Update Menu Item to save.
Add paid extras
0:52Open the item again. Under Modifier Groups are option groups you can reuse on any item. Tap Create modifier group, and call it Roast extras. Choose multiple, so the customer can pick more than one. Set the minimum to zero, so it's optional, and the maximum to three.
1:12Now the options. Yorkshire pudding, one pound fifty. Pigs in blankets, two pounds fifty. And extra gravy, at no charge. Tap Create group. It's ticked for this item, but it isn't attached yet. Tap Save modifiers. Now it's attached, and it applies to every size.
Build a meal deal
1:47Add a new menu item called Sunday Roast Deal, and choose the Combo type. You can't change the type later, so choose it now. Give the deal its own price, nineteen pounds ninety-five, and a category. Under Combo Items, add what always comes in the deal: a regular roast beef dinner.
2:10Then add a choice group called Choose a drink, with homemade lemonade or a Corona. The customer picks one. Tap Create Menu Item.
At the till
2:37Tap the roast beef dinner. The till asks for the size first. Add one large. Then the extras. Paid ones show their price, and the total adds up at the bottom. Tap Add to order. The line shows the size and each extra, and its price includes them.
2:55Now the deal. Choose the drink, and add it to the cart. When you send the order, the kitchen sees the size and every extra.
Recap
3:06To recap. Add sizes under Variations, each with its own price. Put paid extras in a modifier group, and save it to the item. And build a meal deal with the Combo type. Thanks for watching.
