How to add a second branch and switch stores in WalnutPOS

Add a store

0:13Open the menu, and click Store. Each store you run has a card here. A second store needs the Advanced plan. Click New store. Type the store's name. It's printed on that store's receipts. Add its address and phone number. They go on its receipts too.

0:36The map pin is placed from the address. If it's not quite right, drag it. Click Create Store. Your new store is on the list. Each store has its own address, phone number and opening hours. Your menu is shared. Its country is the United Kingdom, and its currency is pounds.

Switch stores

1:02The store you're working in is shown at the top. Click it to see your stores. Pick the new store. Sales are kept per store. The new store hasn't sold anything yet, so its sales are zero. At the till, finish the current sale before you switch. Switching stores clears it.

Hide a dish at one store

1:30Right now, the dish is on the new store's till. Open the menu, and click Menu Item. The list shows what's on sale at the store picked at the top. Find the dish. With the new store picked at the top, this switch is for that store only.

1:52Click Inactive. Click Update Menu Item. In the list, it now shows as Unavailable at this store. At this store's till, the dish is gone. Switch back to your main store, and it's still there.
